In the world of aftermarket alloy wheels, few names are as well-respected and iconic as BBS. Established in 1970, this world-renowned German brand didn’t start out supplying alloy wheels at all, but plastic styling add-ons. However, a few short years later, BBS turned its attention to wheels and never looked back, creating the world’s first three-piece ‘split rim’ and cementing its status as one of the all-time greats.
Synonymous with motorsport, the BBS name has appeared on countless championship-winning F1, Touring and GT cars over the years. The brand has even manufactured OEM wheels for many of the world’s leading car brands, including BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen and even Lexus.
Want BBS wheels for your car? We stock a wide variety of them here at LK Performance. Discover the range and place your order online today, or get in touch with our team for expert advice you can count on.
No matter what you drive and how you drive it, BBS has a wheel design to suit you. From the latest German hot hatches to luxury SUVs, lightweight sports cars and even purpose-built track machinery, the BBS alloy wheel lineup offers something for everyone.
At one end of the spectrum is the FI-R, a forged, motorsport-inspired wheel design available in sizes from 19” to 21”. Equally at home on the city streets as it is on the Nürburgring, the FI-R is the embodiment of what BBS stands for today.

The delivery driver will leave a card saying that he has made a delivery attempt, along with instructions on what to do next.
We do ask you to allow up to three working days for courier deliveries. If your goods still have not appeared after that time or no one has contacted you by email or telephone, please email us at wheels@lkperformance.co.uk.
After placing an order online, you will receive a confirmation email. Following this your order will be set to processing and then delivered once it has been dispatched. Although we carry a large range of wheels and tyres in stock, we cannot have everything, so in some cases if a product is being sent directly from the manufacturer an invoice will not be included in the parcel. You should receive an invoice by mail a few days later. If you do not receive an invoice, please email wheels@lkperformance.co.uk so we can arrange a copy.
Very occasionally goods get damaged in transit. We always inspect the products before we pack them but after they leave our hands accidents do happen. Please sign the delivery docket with the driver 'damaged' if the outer packaging looks damaged in any way. We then ask you to inspect goods upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 24 working hours by calling us on 01274 877787 or sending us an email at wheels@lkperformance.co.uk.
If the goods have been damaged in transit and are faulty, we reserve the right to replace the product. We will of course arrange a collection for the damaged parts and arrange replacements as soon as possible. Please keep all packaging and do not try to fit the damaged parts.
If something is not right about the goods that you have received, please email us at wheels@lkperformance.co.uk or telephone us to let us know. All goods are sold to the manufacturer's Conditions of Sale and Guarantee. Goods specially ordered cannot be returned for credit. We reserve the right to make a handling charge on goods returned against orders correctly executed.
Aftermarket alloys are typically lighter than their stock counterparts, reducing unsprung weight and improving the performance of your car. They’re also available in larger diameters and widths, allowing larger brakes and wider tyres to be installed for increased cornering performance and stopping power.
Alloy wheels have a far longer lifespan than steel wheels. When well cared for, they can last for decades - and they can be easily refurbished and restored to look as good as new.
Performance tyres are summer tyres designed primarily for sports driving as opposed to fuel efficiency. Compared to regular or eco tyres, they typically feature softer compounds and more aggressive tread patterns designed to maximise the tyre’s contact patch on the road.
Compared to all-season or eco tyres, summer performance tyres offer increased grip and often deliver improved steering feel, giving you more confidence and improving your car’s cornering and braking capabilities.
Although they’re slightly less fuel efficient than regular tyres (and they can be a little louder), performance tyres are perfectly well-suited to daily driving. Just bear in mind that, due to their softer compound, they may wear out more quickly than regular tyres.
The lifespan of a tyre will depend on your driving style, wheel alignment settings, the brand of tyre you choose and many other factors.
This depends on your individual tastes and priorities. If you want to lower your car, we’d recommend getting a set of coilovers or an air ride kit to kick things off. Want more noise and a little extra performance? An exhaust will do the trick. If you’re not sure what to start with, reach out to our team for advice.
Potentially. Modifying a car can add to its value, provided you choose the right parts and have them installed by a reputable garage.
If you don’t declare modifications to your insurance company, you will invalidate your insurance - meaning you’re effectively driving uninsured. Always make sure that all modifications are declared to your insurance company.
Unless otherwise stated, all of the parts listed on our website are legal and suitable for road use.
